Messenger setting

Two user settings enable you to select:

  • How often the system checks for new messages
  • The number of messages shown per screen

Configure how often the system checks for new messages

You can configure how often the system checks for new messages. By default, the system checks for new messages every 5 minutes.

To configure how often the system checks for new messages:

  1. On the menu bar, select User name dropdown arrow next to your user name, and then select Settings.
  1. Select Refresh message counter every, and from the list on the right select 2 minutes.

Your change is saved automatically.

To configure how often the system checks for new messages:

  1. Select Menu icon, then select Settings.

  2. Select Refresh message counter every, then select a time interval.

Your change is saved automatically.

Configure the number of messages shown per screen

You can configure the number of messages you view on your screen. By default, DoctorAccess displays 10 messages at the same time.

To configure the number of messages shown per screen:

  1. On the menu bar, select User name dropdown arrow next to your user name, and then select Settings.
  1. Select Number of messages per page, and then from the list on the right select the desired number of pages.

Your change is saved automatically.

To configure the number of messages shown on your screen:

  1. Select Menu icon.
  2. Select Number of messages per page, then select the desired number of pages.
